Dumpsite on Jalan Buntu Pasar Minggu Equipped with CCTV

The dumpsite next to Minggu Market, Jalan Buntu, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, is now equipped with CCTV. With that, all activities there can be monitored publicly.

So when the dumpsite is full, we’ll directly send unit to transport the trashes

“We just installed CCTV in a dumpsite on Jalan Buntu, Pasar Minggu. It is conducted to ease us monitoring the activities happening there. So when the dumpsite is full, we’ll directly send unit to transport the trashes,” stated Head of Trash Handling Section for South Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, Wahyudi Rudianto, Wednesday (8/28).

Not only government officials who can monitor the dumpsite, Rudianto disclosed that the citizens can do it as well.

“To update the activities happening there, you just need to Angel Eyes application that can be downloaded on Android Playstore or Appstore,” he told.

Even so, this CCTV installation is still a trial.

“We’re testing it. There may be no more CCTV installation for this year,” he said.
